Ashland Area Historic Preservation Society Fund
Established 2007
The Ashland Area Historic Preservation Society (AAHPS) created the fund as a permanent funding source for their program, ensuring long-term organizational objectives. By working with the Foundation, nonprofit organizations receive professional investment management and administrative support.
AAHPS was established on February 24, 1999. The Society encompasses the history of: Ashland, Locust Dale, Lavelle, Gordon, Fountain Springs, Girardville, and surrounding areas. The Society believes that preserving the local historic buildings and heritage is enjoyable, worthwhile and, in fact, vital to the future of the community.
Distributions from this fund are made to the Ashland Area Historic Preservation Society for such uses and purposes as the organization shall determine.
