Rotary Club of Hegins-Valley View Scholarship Fund
This fund was established by the Rotary Club of Hegins-Valley View to continue their longstanding tradition of providing scholarship(s) to graduating seniors of Tri-Valley High School. The Club was established in April 1938 and actively demonstrated their mission of Service Above Self within the Tri Valley Community for 83 years.
During that time, some of the most notable Rotary Club accomplishments include: provided International Student Exchanges from 1962 to 2014; awarded scholarships to Tri-Valley graduates from 1989 to 2020; established an Environmental Site at Mahantongo Elementary School; established a Sensory Garden at Hegins-Hubley Elementary School; obtained several grants for playground equipment at Hegins Park; received grants for construction of two pavilions at Valley View Park; provided funding to local emergency units to upgrade and improve equipment; supported Boy Scout Eagle and Girl Scout Golden Awards; and created a bike path from Hubley Township to the Tri-Valley Community Pool.
The Rotary Club of Hegins-Valley View Scholarship will forever keep alive the memory of the dedicated Rotarians who made these projects possible and will continue to support our graduates and our community in years to come.
This fund provides scholarships to eligible members of the graduating class of Tri-Valley High School who are pursuing further education toward a career in the Skilled Trades.
